I spent a lot of time and effort to find the answer

2023 was a year of intense juggling for me. I balanced building a community with a steady (but admittedly boring) enterprise-level freelance gig.

This was my way of staying creatively challenged while ensuring a stable income.

However, it wasn’t manageable. The job drained me, and I couldn’t invest the time and love I wanted into the community.

Eventually, I decided to leave the freelance gig, which resulted in losing the largest portion of my income.

Now, I need to rapidly scale BTNG Unlimited, my UX design subscription service, to compensate for the lost income.

Here is my 5-step process that will save you a bunch of time:

1. Define Your Priorities

Identify what truly matters. For me, it's growing BTNG Unlimited and nurturing my community. Knowing your priorities helps focus your energy on what’s most important.

2. Create a Structured Routine

A structured routine can work wonders. I set specific hours for working on BTNG Unlimited and separate time for community engagement. This prevents overlap and burnout.

3. Set Clear, Achievable Goals

Break down your large goals into smaller, manageable tasks. For example, I divide my day into marketing, client work, and community-building segments. This makes progress tangible and less overwhelming.

4. Eliminate Distractions

During work hours, I turn off notifications and use apps like Brain.fm or Focus@Will to keep me on track. Setting up a distraction-free workspace has significantly improved my productivity.

5. Regularly Review and Adjust

I frequently review my progress and adjust my strategies as needed. This flexible approach allows me to adapt to changing circumstances and stay aligned with my goals.

By focusing on these steps, I've managed my time and energy better, making significant strides in scaling BTNG Unlimited.

Staying focused is an ongoing challenge, but with the right strategies, it becomes more manageable.
